South East Asia: first village stay

Here are 2 mini blogs from the team. They are doing well and are enjoying Telunas now after island 1. Dustin is on a ferry heading to Singapore. He was a pleasure to have on the trip. He had a great presence with the team and they were sad to see him go! What a great trip sponsor!
Here are the blogs:
“The team has completed their first island! It was a great to start at the last island we were at last year. Jess, Rich, and I got to visit our old families and were remembered by the people in the village. The team made so many relationships with the kids, mothers, fathers, and grandmothers. This island has the most beautiful beach so we got to swim with the children a lot as well as spending two days on a work project. It was hard to leave this island. Pray for us as we head to island 2 tomorrow.”

“Dustin, Richie, and Colin spent most of their afternoons playing soccer with the kids as well as teaching them English. The kids were highly interested in learning English and even taught us more Indonesian. Sadly, the island stay came to an end but Colin was able to pray for the host family.”

- Richie
From Elizabeth (their host):
We had an incredible first island stay. Many had squid for the first time along with other local cuisine. Each house had the opportunity to share stories, listen to stories and even pray for the families. We trust that the seeds planted through us will bear fruit! Continue to pray for strength, energy, wisdom, and a boldness to share (without fear).

Thanks for all your prayers and support!
